I had some fun scrapping a few of the pictures I took of Julie and Ben downtown.
For the layouts of Julie I used a combination of "Boxer" by Basic Grey and MAMBI.
Ben's layout is the "Static" line by Crate Paper.

This was a beautiful day to have an early afternoon "music break". We went to listen to the music of Sean McConnell at the university. My daughter loves his songs and acoustic style. We welcomed the divergence from our normal day and thoroughly enjoyed the concert.

Finally a day warm enough to go outside without a down parka, boots and gloves! We celebrated by going to our thriving metropolis that we call "Down Town" and having a little photo shoot! We all know Julie is always game for a game of "smile for the camera".

I love Graphic 45 papers for many reasons. They are a nice heavy weight paper and have a terrific finish. I find their designs both nostalgic and timeless. The best part - the beautifully designed lines are easy to combine. On "Pose" I combined Fashionista ,Times Nouveau ,Playtimes Past and a variety of embellishments to create a layout of something all girls love- playing dress-up. "DREAM" is a picture of my daughter at the "Ryman Theater" in Nashville, Tn it is a medley of Times Nouveau , T!m Holtz and Prima embellishments.

A year (in review) of Country Concerts- I used the sketch from "Gettin Sketchy" . I decide to use it for some of my little concert picture. My daughter and I had a great time in 2008 going to concerts! We saw Toby Keith, Montgomery Gentry, Jason Aldeen, Lady Antebellum, Matt Wertz, Trailer Choir, Carter's Cord and Mia Roberts. 2009 will be even better, we are heading to NASHVILLE for CMA Festival 2009!! Julie has been busy scoping out the blogs and facebook pages for the tour schedules of her favorites trying to figure out if they will be performing at CMA Fest.. the official list won't be posted until April 1st. If anyone reading this has heard any rumors of who will be there- we would LOVE for you to post them in the comments! We are pretty sure Emerson Drive is going to be there WOOHOO!
Here is a fun layout of Montgomery and Gentry from the Blossom Center last September.
