Just 'Case" it

Frilly and Funkie's challenge this week was to  "Case" the 12 tags of Christmas from Frilly and Funky and add a summer twist.  I picked this tag by Linda. I decided to use her gold embossing for my summer inspired  tag.

Funky wall plaque/hooks for Dad!

The Frilly and Funky team issued a challenge to make something for the guys in our lives. You can see the "For all of our fathers" challenge here.
I altered a pair of wall hook plaques that I had to make them guy friendly. They will be terrific in my hubby workshop to hang his key collection.

I used Tim Holtz dies and embossing folders. Tim Holtz foil and idea-ology key hole and distress inks and stains.  I always enjoy the process of creating with my Tim toys.

Altered shadow box

Frilly and Funkie has a Vintage Seaside challenge so I decided to see what I could come up with.
I bought shadowbox frame at Goodwill for $2.00 was all black with a printed  picture and saying.
I took it apart. painted it all cream then added distress inks and stains t get the watery look.
Inside I layers papers, cheese cloth, shells, charms, distress glitter and used lots if mists, stamps and stencils.
I love going to the thrift shops and finding things to revive!

Adventure Awaits us!

I love walking the beach and watching the birds scurry back and forth as the waves roll in. Thank you for visiting!!
