Revenge of the Mummy

I didn't think I would get to do the November Creative Embellishments challenge.
The month of November always seems to be gone in the blink of an eye!  I used the colors from their challenge picture for my inspiration and I was even able to include their challenge to use flourishes.
Alex's FAVORITE ride at Universal Studios Orlando was Revenge of the Mummy. We are in the last row. Alex is laughing his head off while Tom and I hold onto him for dear life!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog!

October in Black & White

This month's Creative Embellishment's monthly challenge had the twist of doing the project in black & white. This picture of Alex in the "Shrunken Heads" shop located in Universal Orlando's Knockturn Alley. I used the chip gears to highlight the brads.
Thank you for taking the time to come and look!

Punxsutawney Phill saw his shadow....

The bad news is that since Mr. Groundhog saw his shadow he predicts we will have 6 more weeks of winter. The good news is that it gives me 6 more weeks that I don't have to make any excuse to stay inside and play in my scrap room!

Let is Snow in Buffalo.
We headed to Buffalo from Findlay, Ohio to attend a baby shower for my new great nephew to be.
We drove through Ohio without a flurry in sight and all the roads were clear.
When we hit the Pennsylvania line the roads were messy! Then as we drove towards Erie, Pa the snow started. By the time we got to the NY/Pa line we hit a wall of snow!
